The men and women of the Louisiana Army National Guard were deployed in Iraq, scheduled to arrive home later this year. With the threat of Hurricane Katrina approaching, these soldiers were brought home early to face the needs of their families and local community. Immediately deployed and now serving in New Orleans to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Soldiers lost their homes to Hurricane Rita which hit Lake Charles, LA, leaving them with nothing.

These men and women have served our country well. Much work is being done to help all the victims through the American Red Cross and other organizations. This request is no different. The Delaware National Guard has reached out to Operation Air Conditioner and asked for them to gain support for this cause to collect donations.

Trailers are donated and coordinated by Home Depot Corporation in Atlanta, GA and our local Home Depot in Peoples Plaza, Glasgow, DE. They are located at both Mike’s Famous Harley-Davidson locations in Delaware. General public are encouraged to drop donations.
